This is Girl Person. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking the last few weeks. Thinking about ways that I can make a bigger impact with the resources that we have. And that is our social media and blog that I’ve worked on daily for fourteen years. I feel like I’m at a crossroads of sorts. And I can either do more. Or do less. And the way that this 2 Traveling Dogs family has encouraged me the last few years, my answer is clear. I want and I need to do more. For all of you.  And for the animal and rescues. I know this. 

So starting this week, instead of a daily, weekday blog (which I have done since 2011), I will be doing a daily blog…every day. Yes. On the weekends too. Why? It occurred to me that in the world we find ourselves living in right now, we need each other. Every day. And that means the weekend too. Do I get paid for the blogs? No. I never have. I’ve done it because I have felt it’s been my purpose. Just like adopting Brickle and Digby opened up my eyes of the true potential of animals and animal rescue, the 2 Traveling Dogs family has opened my eyes that people need each other too. And so. This is for you. I hope you’re excited. Because after much thought and prayer, I feel like we all need each other. No matter where in the world we are. 

You’ll also be seeing many stories of your rescues on our pages. And little treats here and there like movies and fun surprises. We hope you’re glad you’re part of this family. Because we are happy to have you here. 

Is this part of Fruitycake’s purpose as well? It is. And what he wants goes. And he wants you to be as happy as he is. So let’s do this!
