This is Fruitycake. Persons talk about pop culture. The only culture I know is that of barking at sticks. It’s currently a bark culture phenomenon in the works.
But this morning on my daily hike with Girl Person, I learned that a good looking man with long hair on the trail can stop anyone in their tracks. Including me.

Have you ever seen someone that was so good looking to the eyes that you gasped? Well, Brickle sure did. Every day. He loved the way he looked. And I suppose we should all have that confidence.

So when I saw this man on the trail with the most beautiful hair I’ve ever seen, I stopped.
And I refused to walk by him. So he bent down to talk to me in Italian. Girl Person just stood there. Unable to speak from the scene before her.
I was frozen. I couldn’t move. And so finally, Girl Person had to laugh and pick me up and carry me past Fabio.

Yes. I can’t believe it was anyone else. I’ve seen the commercials.
Girl Person was very much second and third guessing her choice of attire for our hike.
And she’s learned her lesson. You should always think you may see Fabio on a trail and not wear a purple carpet, old shoes and no makeup.
I’m sure Boy Person will get a laugh out of this one. And perhaps, he will not wear that sweater he wears in videos any more either.

Perhaps he will learn to like butter.
We all have days where we think everyone else is Fabio and has it all put together. But the truth is, even beautiful people have problems. Even rich people have problems. The trick is recognizing the beautiful things in your life. And believing it. Truly believing it.
