This is Fruitycake. Being from that Florida place, I’m not used to the changing of seasons. We pretty much had one season there. Hot. And then hotter.
But here in this Italy place, there is a definite change. We have seen that with fall.
I can’t believe all the leaves that have fallen and keep falling.
I am a bit nervous about the winter season around the corner. Because we are already cold!
And although we have two heaters now, we need to get another one. You know it’s needed if we are willing to pull it up the path.
Because the upstairs is so cold that the persons keep feeling like they are getting sick. I never thought we would need so many heaters in a little house. But we do. We sure do.
The more we move, the less cold we are.
Good thing, because Girl Person trekked nine miles yesterday between walking me, the path, groceries and supplies.
I am one to be spontaneous. Obviously, I like to sneak up on all those sticks.
But we need to start getting more prepared. Different parts of the world are wonderful. And it’s an adventure. But change is sometimes needed. Sometimes we need to look at ourselves and be flexible. We need to be observant. We need to make changes with time. Or places. Or even people that come into our lives.
We have much cold for a little house. But we also have much love for it. And much excitement for the future. Figuring out how to survive has been important. And every accomplishment warms our hearts.
We can all be more prepared for change. Because change will always come. Remember that life is a journey. No matter where you are, your heart and motivation will keep you strong.

We need to get another heater, (it’s so cold!!) a snuggle bed for me and paint for our bathroom this week! I can’t tell you how happy this project is making us! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
