This is Fruitycake. Some persons were born to be wild.
Unpredictable. Free. Wild. I don’t think I could be described like that so much. I tend to be a bit reserved.
Unless there is a someone on my path. At night. And I feel like chasing them.
I am not sure what makes me so mad about the wild pigs here.
But they are bigger than two Brickles. They are louder than a few Digby’s.
And louder than even me. That’s loud.
Girl Person keeps telling me to stop chasing them. That they deserve to be foraging in the woods.
That they were here before us. But I don’t know what comes over me. I can’t stop and I won’t stop chasing them.
I know. You are shocked at this information. Not as shocked as I am.
You know, I think deep down inside of us, we are can lose control at some points when we least expect it. Maybe we lose our temper in traffic. Maybe we are short to anger with someone we live with. Maybe we wake up on the wrong side of the bed. But I’m just thankful we have a bed now.
We may have a “right” to do something. I have a right to chase wild pigs on our path. But that doesn’t mean I have to.
It doesn’t mean I can’t be kind.
But maybe I will tomorrow. I can’t make any promises. But I can say I’ll try.
We all are born to be wild. But we all are born to be kind too. Let’s be that today. Because we may one day be on other side of our path and want that same kindness shown to us.
