Joy. It’s hard to come by in this world, isn’t it? You would think that it would easy. After all, there is definitely more good things than bad things.
So why is it so hard to forget the good?
Well…what happens when you add too much salt to a sweet cake? You notice the salt. Even though the sugar is still there.
It’s easy to let the salty things of the world like negativity and plain badness make you forget the good. But you can’t. You just can’t.
Because the birds are singing. Listen. The bees are buzzing. Listen.
The wind is whispering “I love you. You’re important.” Listen.
Joy is not always easy to find. But when you do find it, hold on to that treasure. Don’t let anyone take it away.
Guard your heart. Guard your motives. And bring joy to someone today whether they ask for it or not.
Ask every day how you can make someone’s day better.
Ask someone how you can make their day joyful.
