This is Fruitycake. We’ve been real busy. But everyone is busy, I’m learning. You can fill your time with many things. And what fills your time, will fill your heart. Whether that is good things or not good things. Mediocre things or wonderful things.
We’ve been busy trying to get stuff up the path. And the things were heavy, so it really tired out the persons. They pushed themselves to the limits.
And that doesn’t happen often. So it might take them a few days to get sorted out. And to get our bed sorted out. We have a bed. It’s hard to believe, really.
We also have a stove to warm us up. But…we still have to sort out the mechanics of it. Everything seems easy. But wow. It is not. Not at all.
It’s taken us about three months to get to the point of where we are now. And no. We haven’t got a lot done. But we didn’t give up when Brickle passed away.
We didn’t give up many times when we could have. But we started this. And as much time as it’s going to take, we will keep going. That’s time well spent, in my opinion. It’s not for everyone. No. But it fills our hearts with joy to bring a house back to life that was forgotten for so many years. It fills our hearts to work on Brickle’s house so that we can welcome more rescues. And we won’t give up now. Even though our bodies may need a rest day or two.
When someone cares about you, and believes in you, it can give you energy. And we feel your love. And we feel your energy.
Family doesn’t judge. Family encourages. Family doesn’t belittle. Family builds up. Even builds up a little house in this Italy place.
And we are rebuilding this house with all of you. Time? We’ve got it. Do you?

So glad you have a bed now. ❤ It may not look like it to you, but I think you’ve gotten a lot done. There aren’t too many people that would take on the challenge of fixing up a forgotten home and make it livable. All of the little things you’re doing build up.
