This is Fruitycake. Talking. I’m all about it. Especially when it involves sticks. They always have something to say, and you can bet I talk back.

But singing? I haven’t found my voice yet. Like Digby Pancake. He was the best singer ever. He could hit the high notes and the low notes and all those notes inbetween the pancakes like syrup.

That is why, when Girl Person told me that some kind persons were driving all the way from Switzerland to deliver us some beds and other stuff, I was surprised. All I know about Switzerland is that they yodel there.
And that’s kind of like singing, right? Except…better. And I have a feeling I’m going to learn all to do it the next few days.

I also found out that Girl Person’s family a long time ago was from that Switzerland place. Coincidence? Not sure. But it sure makes you wonder. And yodel while you yodel.
I bet that we will have a lot to carry up our long and muddy path. But I also bet that we will be able to do it.

Because if someone cares enough about us that we have never met in person…to drive all the way from that Switzerland place to make sure we have what we need for winter…how much of a miracle is that?

I never imagined, being a stray dog in a shelter, that I would be loved by persons all over the world. I don’t take this for granted. I was meant to give rescue animals a voice. I was meant to carry on the tradition that Brickle and Digby started. And I was meant to carry on the love that all of you have shown.

It’s hard to accept help. But we all need it sometimes in our lives. The responsibility we have, is that when we are given help, we help someone else if they need it too. I may also need help to learn how to yodel. I’ll get back to you on that.
