This is Fruitycake. Persons think that dogs can’t tell time. But we can. We know time more than you do.
And unfortunately, the time has come that we have to take a trip away from our little house in this Italy place.
The persons were hoping that this time wouldn’t come and that we could figure out a solution. But they simply didn’t. Timing didn’t work out to get their test results back to let them stay on a student visa. And rules are rules. You can’t stay in this Italy place for more than 90 days if you are from that United States place. Unless you have a visa. And so we have to leave for a few weeks until we get our test results back. It could be a week. Or a month. Just a few weeks. I know that it isn’t ideal. But it’s what we had to do tp get Brickle here in time. Time.
Somewhere out there is a place we haven’t been yet. And that’s where we are going. We don’t know yet. Yep. We were really hoping this wouldn’t have to happen. And the persons weren’t prepared, except for their test.
But somewhere out there, we have to find the inner strength to carry on. To focus.
To realize that we will be right back. And that Brickle’s house will be here. And we can get right back to fixing it. But maybe, somewhere out there is someone that needs us. Like my new brother or sister. And maybe. Just maybe. This is what we have to go.
We all have things in our lives that can pull us away from what we want to do. Circumstances are not always ideal. But it’s how we deal with them, and how we get back to the place we want to be, that shows our strength. We can do this. Are you going to stay with us…wherever we go? We hope so. It means a lot to me.

I’m here. A bit worried about my own path this morning, as I call my doctor about something that looks very suspicious.
I hope that your unplanned travel from your beloved little house in the Italian mountains is just a very short week at most.
Following you every day, seeing the immense strides you’ve all been making (!) including, the huge improvements on your house and the land around it…incredible feats and so inspiring. It stood there waiting for your help all of these years.
And Fruitycake (!) that dear boy has been coming into his own m, watching you and accompanying you through all of the challenges and new adventures these past several weeks have brought you all, and it’s so heartwarming to see his confidence and love blossoming!
I hope we can all be back on our paths very soon. We all have more work to do. People (and our dogs!) are depending on us to pull through and continue on our journeys. Thank you for your thoughts and inspiration each day.
