This is Fruitycake. Just when you think you are making progress, sometimes life has a way of blocking that progress. Or surprising you. Or both.

Yesterday, the persons had their test for Italian. And they were so stressed. And yet, when it was done, they felt relieved. Until they found out they had to come back today and do a speech.

Now. I’m not one for rain. Or wet ground. And we had a bad storm last night. Trees down. Much mess. And I decided to stay back again today. I know. But I needed the rest. It’s been a hard few months.

Even if the persons pass their tests, they won’t know for some weeks. We don’t even know how long. And our tourist visas run out. At the end of next week. And we didn’t expect to have to go somewhere else for a few weeks. But. We have to. No choice. And today, Girl Person is a bit emotional about it. So until tomorrow….
