Peanut Butter Brickle. 2009-2024

An old soul from the moment he was born. He knew all. He was the strongest dog in spirit, mind and body. He saved our lives. He saved animals lives by being the example of what a rescue dog can be if given a chance.

He made me feel whole again. Although we’ve written words together every day, I find myself at a loss today for the right ones. There are no words to convey our love for him. No words to summarize a life of travel, adventure and lessons together. Always with me. Forever our love will be. Thank you for loving Brickle. He loved you very much.

The blog will be on pause until next week.

Brickle’s Tile Garden will now be Brickle’s Memorial Tile Garden.
We have buried him where he would have loved. And will start on your memorial garden next week. We promise to respond to your comments and love. And we thank you. We just need some time.

Oh, so very, very sorry to hear about dearest Brickle. He was a trooper and we all loved that Brickle face! ♥️You showed him the best life…a huge world with no boundaries and sooo much love. With love you provided him everything humanly possible to make him happy and comfortable every day! He is infinitely grateful and wants you to be happy again….but we all know that will take time as you will miss him every day. Take care of yourselves, now. Fruity will be doing his best to look after you, as dogs do, even though he is also sad. I too am sad, and so sorry. Hugs and love and strength to you all. Brickle looks forward to watching as you make your little house more and more beautiful, and he will be there with you every minute of every day. What a good boy.

So sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved him and tried to give him a long and happy life. It is so hard to say goodbye, especially after so many years. May God Bless you at this difficult time.

    1. Wow! I just happened to look at your blog and saw Fruitcake, and Brickle was not there. I am so sorry for the loss of Brickle. I live in Maryland, USA. So at 4:00 AM this morning I starting reading the most recent blog and it explained that Fruitcake was doing his best through his grief to help GP and BP. It hit me that something happened to Brickle, and searched your posts to find out what had happened. I am so, so, sorry about Brickle. What a great friend and companion he has been. I’ve been crying for over 2 hours at discovering this news. I have been following your blog since the earlier years when Sheriff Digby and Peanut Brickle were together, and later when Fruitcake joined the family. I want to send all the love and hugs to GP, BP, and Fruitcake. I know that you gave both Brickle and Digby the best life and all the love you had. I know you have and will continue to do the same for Fruitcake. Let him help you heal and you will be also helping him to heal. Sending many, many, many hugs your way, and know that we love you all.
