This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I let Fruitycake take the blog yesterday because I was a bit tired.
There has been a lot of sunshiney in this Italy place. And a lot of resting under the shade.
Boy Person worked on the path up to our house all day yesterday and even into the evening. He still had time to stop and get me food. And that was very appreciated. Sunshiney and good food has a way of making most things better. Even a wore out path to a forgotten house in Italy.
But today, we are on the move. To another rental. And although I’m happy to have a place to rest and for the persons to cook, we really want to get into our own house. I want to get up that path and then stay there for a little while. Or longer. I picked my spot. It’s waiting for me.
We’ve been on the move for years and years and more years. In the RV and then the last year, waiting to get here. Being on the move is fun. But even travelers like us can want to put our paws in our own dirt for a bit. That’s where we are now.
Things don’t have to be perfect for us to camp at our house for awhile while we work on it. We want to get one room done and comfortable. We need water. We need a shower. Or way to shower. And some power. We need beds for me and Fruitycake and maybe even the persons. And that’s just the beginning. But every project has a beginning.
We have to take all our luggage today down this path from the rental to our little clown car. And that’s going to take us a little bit.
We are on the move. We may be going the long way around, but sometimes navigating is required. Flexibility is required. Determination is required. And I’ve got all that.
We have a lot to work to be done.
But truthfully, the most work we have is on ourselves. And this is what we need. What do YOU need?
If you have a dream, it’s never too late. You may need to go the long way around like we did. And that may be just the beginning of your work. But every dream and every project has a beginning. Maybe it’s your time too.
