This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I’m finding it a bit hard to concentrate lately. Have you ever had that problem?
I wake up every day in this Italy place. And I am so thankful that we made it here. But I am also thankful for all of the other places I have been in my life.
There is no place that is more special than another place. It’s just us and where we want to be in that moment.
There is a place special to anyone and everyone. But even the most beautiful places in the world won’t ever compare to the place you can get to when you’ve cleared out the cobwebs and weeds. In your mind.
Right now, the persons are trying to clear out the weeds around the little house so that they can even see what needs to be fixed.
So that they can see what they are dealing with. So that they can see a whole picture. Even if that picture is overwhelming, the truth is better than not knowing. Because you cannot fix what you don’t know is wrong.
As usual, things and situations in life have a way of teaching us more about ourselves.
If Girl Person doesn’t start taking care of herself and her health physically and mentally, she won’t enjoy Italy. You can travel anywhere in the world. But you’re always with yourself.
We can’t look for places or things to make us happy. We have to clear out the weeds, doubts and sadness from our minds first. And then use those weeds to teach us about ourselves. Now. Let’s get to work.
We do have to move to another temporary rental tomorrow and rent a car for two days to move our luggage and get some supplies. It’s just part of the work!
