This is Peanut Butter Brickle. We had another long day of travel yesterday. It was long in distance. Yes. But it seemed longer because my persons didn’t feel good. But we made it to our next stop on the journey to that Italy place. And to our home.

But first, rest. I have to rest after travel days now. At least two nights seems to help. No matter if it’s a car or a plane, or a train, like we have to take tomorrow, I need rest. Rest for my body. But rest for my mind too.
Because even if you have a goal, a big goal like I do right now, you have to pace yourself. I see home in the distance. But today, I also see the beautiful scenery. I see things I’ve never seen before. And I’ll appreciate that while I am here.
A goal, no matter how big, should never block your view from the blessings in front of you.
Last night, when we go to the place we are resting at, I took a moment to take it all in.

I thought of all the persons and individuals that had been here before me. All the ones that had taken in the beauty of this place.
But as beautiful as it is, it’s amazing to me that my home in the distance seems even more grand. More beautiful to my heart.

This time in my history is one for the books. I have made it this far. And I’m ready to go to that France place tomorrow afternoon.
I see home in the distance. And if you have a goal, even if it seems far away, know this…if a senior dog can make it this far, you can do it too.
