This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I was told that today is probably one of the biggest days of my life. To me? Well. It’s important. But to be a good individual, that is more important than one event. But. If that event is a way to do something good…to be an example, sign me up. Let’s get on this jet plane across the pond!

That’s right. Today, me, Fruitycake and Girl Person will be taking the first trip acoss the pond in a plane for dogs. Yes. For dogs.

Yes. I know I’m 15 years old. Yes. I know I’m a big dog. Yes. I know that some may think I can’t do it. Or I shouldn’t do it. But here’s the thing. I want to live while I’m here. I want to try. And there is never any right decision at my age. It’s day by day. And today is a day I will fly on a jet plane. I want to show others that senior dogs don’t all have to spend their days on the couch if they don’t want to. I want to show a rescue dog like me and Fruitycake deserves a safe way to travel.

Some adventures in life you can plan for. You can imagine every scenario. You can map it all out.

But none of us ever truly know what will happen. That’s the beauty of life. But the scary part of life too. And yes. We are nervous. I have had some not so good days lately. But I want to go. I want to try. That’s been me from the time I was born.

I don’t know if I will like it. Or if I won’t. But I do know I want to be with my persons. I do know I’m excited to see new things. Are you with us?

Our flight leaves this morning at 8 am ET. The flight is about 7 hours. We won’t have a way to keep in touch during that time. But as soon as we land, we will let you know. We love you. We thank you for loving us. Now. Let’s do this.
