This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle.  Let me be the first to welcome you to…Nebraska!

Yesterday, we had quite a long and dusty drive from that Kansas place.  We never realized how dry and dusty some places are since we are from that Florida place.  Wow…is it dusty! Girl Person’s skin is so dry she looks like she could crack under pressure.  Wait, she already did that.

We are looking forward to our week here in Nebraska.  We will be visiting a rescue called Hearts United For Animals that saves many animals from puppy mills and also just saved over 30 animals from the floods in Louisiana.  So yes, they are very special people.  And we can’t wait to see all of the good that they do. This is our #27 state out of 48 this year.  Did I mention that?  No?  I did now.

We also can’t wait to see all of the fun and good things that Nebraska has to offer.  Deputy Digby Pancake is most interested in the food, but that doesn’t change from state to state.  Or year to year.  Or day to day.  Or hour to hour…or minute to minute.  Nope.  Sorry to be predictable there.

Also, being predictable today, I will tell you that so far, I believe that I am the most beautiful thing in Nebraska.  No, I have not see Nebraska at all yet, just saying.  Girl Person says that I need to relax…we have a lot to see.  Let’s do this Nebraska!
