See Ya Later, New Hampshire!

This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle and we are outta here, New Hampshire! What a week we had!  You are such a beautiful, welcoming state, and we will never forget you. And we hope to be back soon.

We are a bit bummed that we didn’t get to see everything we wanted to.  But, we are learning on this year long trip that we have to take it as it comes, and therefore, I am not arresting anyone today.  We were a bit tired, Girl Person got a small heat stroke, Boy Person had three bad headaches in a row, and Deputy Digby and I aren’t as young as we used to be.  So we thanked our fans for letting us rest.  We really needed it, and now we are ready to go to the Maine place. But we are going to really miss New Hampshire, its mountains, its rocks, its lakes and its farms.  Such good food.  Such good people.  Such a good rescue that we visited.

Another thing we are learning on our trip is that there is no way we can possibly see everything and everyone we want to.  Our intentions are good, but we have to have fun too and family time.  And we have a long, long way to go yet!  48 states, 48 rescues in one year.  Is it possible?  Yes, it is!  And we are loving it! We can’t wait to see you Maine!  The Big Blue Treat Wagon is headed to the Maine place this afternoon, and some area called Bass Harbor.  It is somewhere we have always wanted to see, and we cannot wait!  Here we go again! See ya later New Hampshire! We will miss you so much. Your hikes are amazing by the way.

But your people.  The best.

Thank you for visiting NH, so sorry to hear about the heat issues, headaches and Jeep problem. We would love to have you back to our state someday to show you the rest of its beauty….but alas, we understand completely about this time. Please travel safe, you’ll love Maine – it’s a beauty!
