Superstar

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I’ve been talking a lot this week on the blog. I’ve had a lot of say. I’ve had a lot of energy. And my inside star is shining bright.

My inside star? Yes. The persons tell me that we all have hearts that beat.

But for me, I feel like it’s a star inside me sometimes. And this star is shining lately with love, with anticipation of things to come, and contentment with where I am at the same time.

Here at this Florida place beach, I see persons walking slow. I see persons appreciating a sunset or sunrise. I see persons watching birds. I see persons taking life slow. Their heart may not be beating fast with stress and traffic, because it’s their inside star that has taken over.

Seeing Fruitycake excited for every day gives me energy and makes my star shine.

Seeing the persons planning our future travels makes my star shine. And the fact that no one has given up on me because of my age makes my star shine.

Do you have a star inside you? We all are a Superstar.

But sometimes we forget that. Because life is so busy with things that don’t matter that puts everyone into darkness with no shining stars.

When I was young, I didn’t know all the bad things of the world and I thought life would last for a long time. Now that I’m older, I see that everyone’s star eventually burns out.

So while our stars are still shining, be that superstar. Shine bright for the world to see!
