Inside Out

This is Fruitycake The Raccoon. I’ve heard many times from Brickle how much Digby used to hate wearing any kind of clothes.

Especially pants. He saw no need for them.

I’m just trying to be a good Fruity and learn what I am supposed to do in my family. So when I have to wear clothes, I do. I have to wear a shirt for allergies. And well. I look good. So I don’t mind. I’m going to agree with the no pants preference though. Especially after Girl Person made an error yesterday.

You see, Girl Person isn’t one for detail. Not at all. So when she walked out the door to take us hiking with her pants inside out, I didn’t say anything. Although Brickle and I talked amongst ourselves about it.

She walked the whole trail and said hello to many persons along the way with her pants inside out.

And by the time she realized the error of her ways, we were already home. She quickly changed. She forgot and didn’t take into account that her pants now were turned inside out. And whatever her pants had touched on the trail was now on her. Including whatever is making her itch right now. A lot.

Do you ever feel like you are inside out? Like you forget that your inside thoughts should be kept inside sometimes in order to be kind? Some things have a time to be said.

Some things don’t need to be said at all.

It’s rare that something is so important as to warrant unkind words. Think of what you project on the outside. And your inside beautiful too. But stay away from poison ivy and inside out pants.
