Waiting On The Leader Of The Pack

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. If you wait long enough, they say that you will surely get old. Well. Pass me the wrinkle cream. Because I’ve been waiting a real long time for this imaginary truck that is supposedly on its way here this weekend.

Yes. If you know our family, you surely know that it takes us three times as long as normal to get anything accomplished.

I’ve stopped worrying about that fact a long time ago. Because I’m not sure how much it matters.

Plus, we got to spend some extra time with our friend the Jeep.

The Jeep sure has been a good friend.

Do you know we’ve had the Jeep with us for 14 years?

That’s longer than me and Digby have been dogs.

Sure. We had a very hard time finding a truck we could afford that could pull our house on wheels. And so, when we finally found a red one in that Arizona place, we decided to take a chance on it! We knew that it was ours and we plan to keep it in our family for a long time.

Was it worth the wait to find our red truck? Of course it was.

We didn’t rush. Just because you get something checked off a list doesn’t mean it got done right.

We are holding our breath till it arrives on Sunday. It had a long journey. But it has no idea the journeys that are to come!

To us dogs, we realize you persons have so much to deal with to make things happen. Time. Money.

Jobs. Health. I applaud you for working so hard sometimes to make your dreams happen. It’s not easy. Almost as hard as finding a red truck to pull a Big Barking Biscuit Buggy.

So red truck? We are waiting. We’ve been waiting since November. It’s time to meet.

It’s time to get acquainted. We’ve got a lot to do together. 2 Traveling Dogs To The Rescue!
