This is Fruitycake! And today, we’re going on a treasure hunt for all the little things that make life wonderful!
What if having a good day starts with expecting one? Fruitycake shares a special message for every dog, especially those waiting in shelters, about finding happiness in the little things, appreciating how far you’ve come and believing that better days are ahead.
Then we’re meeting the amazing praying mantis! Did you know some look like flowers, they can turn their heads 180 degrees and some even have an ear on their stomach? Fruitycake discovers what these remarkable insects can teach us about looking back at everything we’ve overcome instead of worrying about what’s ahead.
And finally, our Barker of the Day, Sheila from Albuquerque, New Mexico, invites Fruitycake on a hot air balloon ride! He’s ready to go up, up and away, but there’s one condition. Girl Person and Boy Person are NOT invited! Apparently, their previous balloon adventure involved a tree, a road and a truck. Fruitycake would prefer a slightly more peaceful flight!
Today’s message for dogs: Look how far you’ve come. You’ve already survived so much, and there are wonderful things waiting for you. You can do this!
