Turkey Cookies For Dogs

Cooking for family includes our furkids. YOU know that already!

• 9 oz whole grain rye flour
• 3 1/2 oz rolled oats
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 1/2 oz cooked, ground turkey meat
• 6 oz water or unsalted broth

Mix all ingredients with the water or broth and knead to make a firm dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 345 degrees and line a baking sheet with waxed paper.

On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch and use a cookie cutter to shape however you wish! Place on the baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes. Turn off oven, and either take out for softer cookies, or let dry in the oven for crunchy cookies. Let cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
