First, Let’s Help Bubba’s Shelter!

Before we introduce you to Bubba, we want to recognize the wonderful work being done by the Humane Society of Sedona in Arizona. This nonprofit organization has been serving animals in the Verde Valley since 1966, providing shelter, veterinary care, adoption opportunities, and second chances to dogs and cats who need them. Every donation helps make that work possible.

Here are ways you can help the Humane Society of Sedona directly:

Make a financial donation: Support the shelter’s care of homeless animals through its donation page on Arizona Gives. https://www.azgives.org/organization/Humanesocietyofsedona

Send much-needed supplies: The shelter maintains wish lists for food, bedding, treats, cleaning supplies, and other necessities. You can also access its Amazon and Chewy wish lists so items can be delivered directly to the shelter. https://humanesocietyofsedona.org/give/wishlist/

Support the shelter’s thrift stores: The Humane Society of Sedona operates Paws West and Paw Prints, where donated and purchased items help support its animal welfare work. https://humanesocietyofsedona.org/about-us/

This is me…Bubba. I’m a pretty adventurous guy with a big personality and a goofy sense of humor. I love making people laugh, and I think life is better when there’s someone to share it with. I do need to be your only pet. I know that makes finding a home a little harder, and sometimes I wonder if people stop reading when they hear that. But I have so much love to give. I just need someone experienced and patient who understands me. Sometimes I imagine the little things. Hearing you call my name, having my own place to sleep, and knowing there’s someone who will always come back for me. I wonder what it feels like to finally belong.

How To Adopt Bubba

Bubba is looking for an experienced adopter who can provide guidance, structure, and a home where he will be the only pet. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.

To inquire about Bubba, contact the Humane Society of Sedona at 928-282-4679. Please confirm his availability and arrange an appointment before visiting.

About This Is…Me By 2 Traveling Dogs

Every rescue dog has a story, but not every rescue dog has the opportunity to tell it. That is why 2 Traveling Dogs created This Is…Me, a project dedicated to helping real rescue dogs be seen, believed, and rescued.

With misleading, recycled, and AI-generated animal rescue posts circulating online, we believe it is more important than ever to connect people with actual adoptable dogs and the legitimate shelters and rescue organizations caring for them. We share their stories in their imagined voices, based on real shelter information, and provide direct contact details so interested adopters know where to turn.

Shelters and rescue organizations: Would you like to submit a dog for consideration? It’s FREE! Email rachael@2travelingdogs.com with the dog’s name, photos, personality, adoption requirements, shelter information, and adoption link.

2 Traveling Dogs is not a shelter or a 501(c)(3) rescue organization. Since 2011, our mission has been to Make Rescues The Breed Of Choice!

Every real dog deserves to be seen. Every real story deserves to be believed. And every rescue dog deserves the chance to find a home
