With all of the recalls in the news lately, and actually in the past few years, as consumers, we must change the way that we are feeding our dogs if we want them to stay with us for as long as possible. We simply are asking you to consider the idea that dogs NEED and WANT real food. No, not people food. REAL FOOD. Doesn’t every living thing deserve that?

You may feel overwhelmed with the thought of making your dog’s food. But don’t be. The pet industry wants you to think that. After all, don’t they need to sell their products? This is our go to recipe and hopefully one that will start you on the path in cooking for your dogs. First of all, a few disclaimers.
We are not vets. We are not nutritionists. We do not claim this is a complete meal, or that is has been evaluated by NAAFCO which regulates our pets’ food and makes all of those fancy charts.
So ask yourself. Can I do this? And we will tell you…yes.

Then, start on the path to taking control of your dog’s diet and your lives. Don’t make excuses. We have heard them all. Just. Throw. Away. That. Dog. Food. Bag!
