Sweet Mutt-Tato Picnic Salad For Dogs and Persons, Caribbean Style

Sweet Mutt-Tato Picnic Salad For Dogs and Persons, Caribbean Style

Sweet potatoes are one of our favorite, “go to” foods. Sweet potatoes are great for digestive health because they’re high in dietary fiber. They’re also low in fat and contain vitamin B6, vitamin C, and manganese. What else? Sweet potatoes are gentle on dogs’ stomachs and that is great for elderly dogs.

We created this recipe so that when you share a picnic with your dog, you both can eat the same foods. Easier meal prep means for longer and more enjoyable time together. Of course, for the persons’ portion, you may want to add salt! Enjoy and please…get outside and have a picnic!

Ingredients
2 cooked, organic sweet potatoes cubed or mashed
2 tablespoons, organic chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon organic coconut oil
1 tablespoon fresh, chopped, organic basil
1 tablespoon organic cinnamon
1/2 cup organic low fat or greek yogurt, plain and unsweetened

Directions
Mix all ingredients together and chill overnight. Serve and enjoy!
