Today, I have a very important message for dogs everywhere, especially those waiting in shelters for someone to love them. Sometimes the smallest things bring the biggest joy! A kind word, a gentle pat, a tiny treat or someone telling you that you’re a good dog can make your whole day better. And you can spread that joy to others, too!
Then we’re meeting one of the most misunderstood creatures on Earth: the cockroach! 🪳 Did you know cockroaches can run about three miles per hour, groom themselves and help recycle nutrients back into the soil? I share how Boy Person’s surprising encounter with cockroaches in Costa Rica changed his opinion of these little creatures forever. And there’s an important lesson for every dog: Someone else’s opinion of you does not determine your worth.
Finally, our Barker of the Day, Sugar from Upstate New York, asks me a very flattering question: “What do you do every day to look so handsome?” I reveal my beauty secrets, including baths I would rather avoid, brushing and the one thing that makes every dog truly beautiful. LOVE!
