“Fishy Buoys” Soft Dog Treats

Fish is an excellent source of protein, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which have health benefits like decreasing inflammation. Sweet potatoes aid in digestion because they’re high in dietary fiber. They’re also low in fat and contain vitamin B6, vitamin C, and manganese. For those of us trying to provide our dogs with homemade, healthy treats, often, soft treats are needed because of having a senior dog. These are our favorite, go to, gluten free treats for dogs that may have allergies to chicken or beef, or when we need to hide a pill or vitamin!

Ingredients

1 cup cooked whitefish
1 large cooked organic sweet potato
1 cup organic coconut flour
1 egg
1/2 cup unsalted fish broth or water

Directions
Spray a nonstick cookie sheet with olive oil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls with hands. Make the treats to your desired size. Place balls on cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
