This is Fruitycake. If anyone knows about problems and life being hard, well, it’s me. Stray dogs are strong. Resilient. Smart. And determined. Just like my persons need to be right now.
When they went to the consulate place in Miami yesterday, well, it was stressful. They had tried very hard to do all the right things with their papers. And with advice. But sometimes you can do all the work for a goal and still not reach it. Yet.
That’s right. They didn’t get their papers to stay in that Italy place. Again. That’s life.
That’s life? Sure is. Things don’t always go as we plan. Sometimes you encounter roadblocks. You get knocked down. And then. You get back up again.
No one can take away a dream from you. Except you. Problems don’t mean it’s not meant to be. But it does mean you better figure out if it’s possible. It does mean you may need to regroup. It does mean you may need to do more work. And you may need to change the way you’re trying to get to your dream. It’s ok to backtrack. It’s not ok to ignore what you need to do and just hope it works out.
Even though the persons didn’t get the answer they wanted for a quick solution, they did get the information they finally needed. They did get answers. They know what they need to do. And a couple months isn’t going to be the end of the world. But now it’s time to exactly figure out how to do this. And obviously, Boy Person outlined the first step starting today.
He said given the information we have now, the first consideration and plan of action determines what is best for Brickle. And me. And then, we go forward with that plan.
So today, we leave this Miami place. And go back towards the Tampa place. We have this week to sort it all out. We will need a lot of energy for this.
And we thank you for sticking with us. For your support of our crazy adventures and misadventures.
And for understanding that the biggest of dreams sometimes have the biggest obstacles. That’s life.
