This is Peanut Butter Brickle. I know. I know. Go at your own pace. That’s my motto. And live by it. I do what I want to do. At the speed I want to.
And when I don’t want to? Well, I quickly don’t do that either. These decisions are mine. But I realize that some processes in life are just slower. No matter how much we want to speed it up.
I know many think that getting to that Italy place is taking forever. I am not going to disagree one bit. The persons have made some decisions which have been wrong. But also, some of the decisions were for me and trying to do things with my best interests.
No matter what, this last year has been extremely frustrating. For everyone. And we might as well be snails trying to get down one street. We are individuals just as slow trying to get to another country. And no one is having an easy time of it.
None of us in our family expected things to take so long. And it’s probably better that we didn’t know. But when you have a dream, it’s not always easy. In fact, most often, that dream is hard. Or else everyone would do it.
So if your dream is taking a long time like ours is, let’s not feel bad. Let’s be supportive of each other and cheer each other on.
We head to that Miami, Florida place tomorrow.
And it’s a very long drive. Especially in Slow Ride the car.
But you know what? Just like getting to Italy, the longer it takes on the journey, the more you see. The more you learn. The more you know and grow! Just. Like. A. Snail.
But we will get there.
Just like we will get to that Italy place. Will they accept our paperwork this time? We don’t know. But no matter what, we will work thru it. Together. They say things happen for a reason. I don’t know. But I know if a snail can get places, we can too.
Speed is relative. Don’t judge yourself on the progress of others. Just keep moving. I believe in you. Now let’s pack for Miami!
