I Allow My Heart To Soften
This is Fruitycake. I hope you’ve enjoyed my affirmations this week. It was a week to grow for us. For my family. Girl Person had to stop being mean to herself and allow herself one extra week to heal. Me and Boy Person had to demonstrate patience and understanding. What did you have to work on this week?
For today’s affirmation, I thought about rescue dogs and how some of never truly heal.
We don’t trust. Even when we are safe. Some of us get angry and mean towards others. And we just can’t get past our wounds. Just like persons. And just like persons, we also have to work on softening our hearts to allow ourselves space to heal. It’s time for today’s affirmation! Ready? Say it with me.
I allow my heart to soften with compassion and understanding. I choose gentleness over judgment and patience over anger. I release harsh words, toward myself and toward others.
I respond with kindness, even when it feels difficult. My softness is strength, and my empathy is wisdom. I treat others with the same grace and understanding I seek for myself. I am open to love, connection, and peace. Each day, my heart grows softer, kinder, and more compassionate.
I wish the whole world could know how much I love you. You. The one reading this now. Thank you for working on being better. With me. I love you. Let’s heal our hearts together starting now.
