This is Fruitycake. You may not think that some things go together. Like hot dogs on pizza. But did you know that in this Italy place, there’s a special pizza with hot dogs and French fries on it? I am serious about this. And it’s my absolute favorite pizza. If I could eat it every day, I would.
I had it yesterday! And it was a very good day to have it. We had made it thru the storm and we got our electric bike this week too!
Some days call for extra thanks. But we give that extra thanks every day.
At night, and I don’t know if I have ever told you this, but me and Girl Person have a routine when we go to bed. First, she sings me our song.
Then, she says a prayer with me. We give thanks for all the little things we have done together all day and the things we have seen. It can be big or small, but we say thanks together. And it’s a part of each day.
I have learned in life that persons believe many different things about life and how they give thanks. But one thing is certain. If you give thanks, you can’t be wrong in what you believe. Because thanks is always a good idea. It helps us notice things throughout our day. And it helps us appreciate we are here to see them.
Some persons may think dogs can’t appreciate the blessings we have in life. I know if you’re reading this that you are not one of those persons.
So I will thank you for reading my blog every day and for being my friend. It’s a little lonely here in a different country. And we give thanks that we have you all as our family. We give thanks that you’re helping us to make this land into a place to be used for animals and people all over the world. We give thanks you simply love us and encourage us.
So today, if you want hot dogs on your pizza and French fries, eat it. Listen to music. Say a prayer. Call a friend. Notice the bees and the birds and the ants. See how we all work together to make life wonderful! We are wonderfully made, each and every one of us. And I thank you for being born.
