This is Fruitycake. Mondays are usually not a day of the week that persons look forward to. Because it seems as though they have more days of doing what they don’t want to do compared to days of doing what they do like to do. And Monday’s start off the chores. But today is a holiday in some places. And maybe you’re not at work today. I’m glad if you can do the fun things today! That’s how dogs live every day!!
But I like Monday’s because it means I can start my affirmations for the week. Girl Person is still typing them for me, but she’s a bit slower than normal. But I think you need me and us. And we will be there for you. True friends are always there for you, aren’t they? They may show up in different ways. But if they’re a true friend, you know it!! And you also will know your value! Isn’t it wonderful, absolutely wonderful, to know that someone is a friend?
But if something happens and you find out someone isn’t there in the bad times or when you need them? You don’t determine YOUR worth by that. You don’t think less of yourself. And you don’t waste one minute trying to change them or their feelings. Because you know that a true friend doesn’t need to be guilted in to or talked in to being there. It’s time for today’s affirmation!!
My true friends are there for me. Because they love me for who I am. They love me when I’m healthy. They love me when I’m sick. They love me when I’m young. They love me when I’m young. They are there for me. Always. And if the time comes when I’m my only friend, I’ll be grateful to be my biggest fan! I love being a friend and I love my friends when they are there. I am worthy of friendship and love. All of the days.
