My Eggs Are All In One Basket
This is Fruitycake. I’m writing you today with my daily affirmation. I actually am pretty nervous only because my persons are nervous. Girl Person goes in for surgery tomorrow. And although she has to get better, it doesn’t mean it’s less scary for all of us.
My family relies on each other so much. I suppose some would say it’s not smart to be so reliable on your love and attachment to someone. Don’t put your eggs all in one basket, they say. But I disagree. And my affirmation for today is ready. Will you say it with me?
It’s ok for me to love someone else with all my heart. I know it’s a risk to love someone with your whole soul and heart. But I would rather live with the greatest feeling of love than a little love. Risk is worth love. Losing someone after whole hearted love is even worth love. I will love as much as I can and who I choose to. When I love with all my heart, I’m loved in return. And that is why I breathe and why I’m here. I will put all my eggs in one basket when my basket is love.
