This is Farmer Fruitycake. When the farm needs tending to around here, you know who to call. Oh, the phone doesn’t work up here very good? No worries. Just bark and I’ll come running.

I heard someone say once that the seeds you plant today will grow eventually. It could take a few months or a few years. But that what you plant each day like hard work or love or the opposite will eventually sprout.

I must have planted some clothes seeds a few months ago.

Because the few clothes that the persons have are everywhere trying to dry. And I mean everywhere. Girl Person remarked the other day that she really needed a new way of drying them. So when a friend showed up with a new way? It was like a true miracle. Even though the persons had to carry it up the path.

Normally, carrying things up the path is difficult. But apparently, when a scorpion bites your hand, like one did Boy Person, the task at hand to carry up a clothes dryer rack becomes a true debacle.

My persons are extremely tired right now. And some days, they think they can’t go on. But they keep trying because they need to. They have to. So when a way shows up to make life a little easier, it was a breath of fresh air. Hot air would be more appreciated in actuality though.

But the scorpions of life know how to bite you. When we are down, and things are looking up, it’s hard when life bites you again. But only you can break that cycle. Only you can decide what to change. Only you can make it a point to stay positive. And my persons are not giving in now to scorpions of doubt.

Even persons with good intention can be scorpions. You see, that scorpion that bit Boy Person was only trying to live too. To protect itself. But it still caused pain and harm. So wear gloves on the days that seem to be the most difficult or painful and plant seeds of positivity you’ll reap in the days to come.
