This is Fruitycake. Oh, weather in this Italy place. One day it is bright sunshiney and I’m bounding with enthusiasm.
Like a fruity fruit.
The next day, the fog rolls in.
Then wind and rain that makes this fruit soggy. But hey. I’ve learned to go with the flow lately. The persons have too.
We aren’t used to actual seasons. And it’s been a wake up call that each season has its own beauty and its own dangers too up here on this mountain.
But just like the changing seasons, each place has its own beauties and its own dangers.
Now I have my own waterfall.
And yet, I remember the time I didn’t even know what a waterfall was.
We were going for a car ride on our travels. And I had only lived in that Florida place on the city streets.
So when Brickle told me that I was a blur to see something special, I was excited. But scared too. And when I first smelled that waterfall, all I could do was freeze. I was so excited I couldn’t move.
My teeth started chattering and the persons said as cold as it was, their hearts melted.
Now…just a few years later and I live in a house in this Italy place with a waterfall. Do I get excited to see it every day? I sure do. And my teeth chatter every time too.
Magic is magic. No matter how often you see it. Magic is magic. No matter how often you feel it. Magic is magic.
So are you. Don’t ever lose sight of the magic around you. Every day.
One day, we may not be here. But the waterfall always will.
