I’ll Huff And I’ll Puff…

This is Fruitycake. You know what? I’m full of surprises. I’m full of naughty.

This weekend started off pretty slow. Pretty yuck. My stomach was full of sick. Full of not nice feelings. Not butterflies, but wasps. Stinging wasps. Just kidding. I’m being over dramatic because I’m naughty.

I actually was sick. I didn’t know and I don’t know what made me so sick. But for two nights, me and Girl Person were up. In and out. In and out. Throwing up and just not good.

By the time Sunday came, I still wasn’t so good. But I was feeling a little better.

So Girl Person decided to take me for a walk to the sea.

I didn’t quite exactly feel like myself. Or so I thought. When we walked home, up the path, something got into me. The naughty. And I took off. I took off after those wild pigs again.

Girl Person hasn’t been feeling good. But she doesn’t like to talk about it.

So when I was naughty, and I took off into the woods of Italy after pigs and it was dark…real dark…she got scared. She got Boy Person up the path. Up and down they went with flashlights. And it was quiet. And that scared them the most.

Finally, after praying and yelling my name, I decided to come back. Right behind Girl Person in the dark. Huffing and puffing.

She dropped to the ground and cried. She asked me why I did that. And I didn’t know. I just did. Sometimes the naughty in all of us wins. It won that night, my friends.

You know, sometimes we don’t know our own self. There I was, on a rainy, quiet Sunday thinking I was sick. But oh, I was more. And you are too. Don’t think you’re too sick. Or too old. Or too anything. Huff and puff and pull it together. Show the world, and most importantly yourself, what you are capable of.
