We wanted to give an update on Brickle today and our travel plans this month.
We knew that the trip here across the pond would be tiring for us all. But we didn’t know it would be this hard for the persons. Mentally and physically it’s been so much. First of all, thank you for your patience with us on orders and content, etc.
Many may wonder why we are staying in England so long and not heading straight to Italy. A few things happened. We had an opportunity to take the first international flight on Bark Air because the people there have been long time friends of ours. That meant we had to work everything around that flight, when it left and where it flew to. We were so grateful. And it was the best case scenerio for all of us. No matter how wonderful it was, for Brickle, it was physically rough. And so we thought it would be best to rest a bit before making the journey to Italy by car, etc.
We also have to take our Italian language test in September in order to apply for our visas again. Because time is limited on a tourist visa, that meant we had to stay in the UK for a month to work around that time frame. Complicated. Yes. But it’s working out fine.
Brickle has health problems with age. Especially the growth by his nose. Last week’s vet appointment was hard but a reality we needed to hear. No more surgery. But keeping him happy and comfortable for as long as we can is our only and best option. He is thriving in the weather here. But his appetite is not as good as we would like it to be. Trying new foods and natural methods are costly. So are his supplies. And we appreciate your support as we help him to relax and recoup this month. We will be here until the end of June. And we think that is the best for now. Thank you as always for your concern and love. If you’d like to help with Brickle’s care, it means so much and allows us to get him what he needs. The way to do so is here
