Washington Salmon With Asparagus And Apples For Dogs And Persons

Washington is a state that inspires you to stop and just look. With simple food and diverse scenery, even the most discerning chef will find an ingredient to create deliciousness!

Asparagus in either purple or green color is not only safe for dogs, but extremely beneficial. Why the debate on serving your dog this veggie? The asparagus FERN is very toxic to dogs. According to the ASPCA website, “asparagus fern, the inedible part of the asparagus plant, is toxic for dogs. If you are growing asparagus in your garden, you should put up a fence to make sure your dog cannot eat the toxic part of the asparagus plant. Ingesting this part of the plant can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and severe abdominal pain.”
So that being said, asparagus if served correctly is a wonderful treat for your dog.
Asparagus has qualities to reduce inflammation and the symptoms of arthritis. Asparagus is an excellent source of vitamin K, folate, copper, selenium, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin C, and vitamin E. It is a very good source of dietary fiber, manganese, phosphorus, vitamin B3, potassium, choline, vitamin A, zinc, iron, protein, and vitamin B6.
