Top 5 Must Have Appliances From Camping World

Travel, dogs and cooking are the joys of my life! And I am fortunate that I get to spend each day traveling with my dogs and also cooking their meals and our meals as well. Travel has taught me so much about myself and my dogs.

This blog post is sponsored by Camping World, but all opinions and experiences are our own.

It has been enjoyable to learn about the people who live in the places we visit and the food and recipes that they love. I truly believe that food can bring us together.

One of my favorite things to do when we travel is to learn about the recipes passed down in that area. When you think of New York, you likely think of pizza. So when we visited the Big Apple, I created a New York style pizza bagel for my dogs to enjoy!

When we visited Nebraska, we learned about Runza. So we made a dog friendly version of Runza for our dogs.

When we visited Italy, we learned about spaghetti. Sure, we all think that we know about spaghetti. But do we really? We learned that the warm Mediterranean climate of Italy is suited to growing fresh vegetables and herbs, which means that Italians can get super creative with their sauces! We wanted to be creative as well, so we made a dog friendly version of spaghetti for our dogs.

Of course, some people may wonder if it is really possible to make creative meals when you travel in an RV. I have experience cooking with a huge, commercial stove when we lived in a house without wheels. And I have experience cooking only on a hot plate. And I also have experienced cooking in an RV. I will tell you that it is possible to cook creative meals with whatever set up you have. The trick is to find the methods and appliances that you like to work with. The great news is that Camping World has the cooking essentials anyone needs to channel their inner chef…or in my case, dog chef!

Here are my Top 5 Must-Have Appliances From Camping World! These products have worked for me during almost seven years of full-time RV travel!

If you asked my dogs what their favorite meal is, they probably couldn’t choose, because it is rare that they get the same meal twice.

I like to use whatever produce is in season and what is local. Since we constantly travel, that can change week by week. But wherever we are, with my Camping World cooking products, I know I can make a great meal for us and the dogs. Often, we eat the same meal with just a few subtractions and or additions.

Food is something that all individuals find enjoyable, and that includes our dog. There is no such thing as “people food” in our house on wheels. There is just real food, and we think that all living beings deserve that. So when you travel, learn about the cultures and people by learning about their food and recipes. Then, bring that food home with your adaptations and a newfound knowledge and appreciation for the ones you get to meet on your travels. But make your first trip to Camping World! And yes, you can bring your dog!
