This is Digby Pancake. I’ve heard some persons say that there are days when they don’t feel like smiling.
True, some days I don’t feel my best.
But I always feel like smiling. If I’m here, I’m smiling either on the outside or in my heart. Do you feel the same?
Persons can let one bad thing or one mistake ruin a whole day. Sometimes they can let it ruin a whole life. But how can a smile help?
Aren’t we all so funny? Do we laugh at ourselves?
It’s easy to get down on ourselves when we make a mistake. But imagine looking at yourself when you were very young. Very, very young. Maybe you thought a certain mistake was the end of the world. Do you feel the same now? I doubt it.
Oftentimes, it’s not even mistakes we made that are the problem we don’t smile. Maybe it’s from situations we were put into that were not our fault. Maybe it’s from guilt over a decision we think we should have made better. Maybe it’s not even something that was in your control.
So to start with a smile starts inside. When our own thoughts are encouraging. Uplifting. Positive to ourself. Our own thoughts are the loudest for us to hear. And our smiles can be even louder. Show the world who you truly are.
