The Motivation

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. There sure are days when it’s hard to get going. The older I get, the more I wonder if anyone even knows where we are going to.

There definitely are things that get me more excited for the day. Like Sunshiney. Like the beach.

Like Fruity being Fruity.

But if I didn’t notice those things, motivation would become procrastination. I wouldn’t have a reason in my heart to be me. I would have a reason to think less happy thoughts.

Sometimes we think relying on ourselves is the only thing we can do. But the truth is, even though I am strong, I still need others to help me sometimes. To motivate me when I need it the most.

And I thank Fruity for doing that.

It may take more effort to get out of bed lately or to hike.

But more effort doesn’t mean I don’t want to do those things. It’s up to me to find my motivation.

Do you look for yours? Or do you second guess and procrastinate? What are you missing out on?

Life changes as we get older. And we can either put forth the effort or give up. Please don’t give up. Don’t wish for the past. Look for the good today. When you look for the good, you’ll be surprised at all the places you find it.

And find your reason for motivation.

We will be in this North Carolina place until Thursday. Then we are back on the road! Ready?
