This is Peanut Butter Brickle. It is certainly true that I’m the most interesting dog in the world. This you know is true.

But not many other things are so certain in this world and in our lifetimes. So we often choose the safe paths. The paths we know what to expect on. It takes a lot of willpower to choose a path where we have no idea what will come to be. Choosing doubt over a certain outcome isn’t the easiest thing to do. Even if you want to do it.
Such was the case with our family’s decision to choose a path of adventure to that Italy place. We certainly knew our way around the USA.

We have traveled to many places for may years. We know our way. And although we would never run out of good things to see and to do, we wanted a change for a little while. Yet we doubted we could do it or if we should. Honestly, we still have doubts. Because this certainly isn’t the easiest choice to make.
The little house we chose isn’t easy to get to. It also hasn’t been lived in for a very long time. It takes a while to walk to. And there isn’t room for a car.
But I think we have driven enough for the last decade to do without a car for awhile. And if we need to borrow one we can. And when we want to explore and camp at places we can rent one. And it will be an adventure all on its own.
Some may doubt I want to make changes at my age. And although I love the care and concern, I also am strong. I don’t want others to give up on me. I haven’t given up on myself. And I’m confident the persons will get me and Fruity there safe. I’m also aware anything can happen anywhere. Even if we stay still. And I’d rather try. I’d rather live.
Choosing doubt over certainty wasn’t something I always knew i could do. But once we lived a life and made decisions for us while trying to help others, I was confident we would at least always try. And we are trying. So today, one of our first steps is heading to Miami, Florida to meet with someone called a consulate who is very important.
The persons have many papers to bring and to ask permission to live and study in that Italy place.
We will keep you updated as the appointment is on Tuesday.
We are driving there today and staying in a place without wheels so it’s easier for us.

This is scary. Exciting. All of the things. But we have to start somewhere. We are making our way to that path that leads to our new little lives. And it’s a big deal for us and for you to be on this path with us.
