Our travels throughout the United States has inspired us to make treats for dogs and people to share that are easy, fun, delicious and nutritious.
This week, we are in Savannah, Georgia, and everything is about the peach! It is also about the heat! So to cool off, we have created this easy recipe to share with your dog.
Why did we make them mini? In summertime, you have to have a pupsicle. But they melt so fast! These mini treats are just the right size to enjoy before they melt, and of course, because they are mini, this makes them lower in calories!
If your dog likes another fruit better, make sure it is dog friendly, and feel free to substitute.
Mini Pupsicles For Dogs And People To Share
Ingredients
2 cups of organic, lowfat greek yogurt, unsweetened
1/4 cup organic peanut butter
1/4 cup organic honey
2 organic Georgia peaches, chopped
Directions
Take mini paper cups and rub with peanut butter! This will make the pupsicles easier to remove.
Mix yogurt, honey and peaches. Spoon into cups. Cover with wax paper and feeze overnight or for at least 8 hours.
When you are ready to enjoy, just peel off paper cups! Have fun and eat outside.
