One Day At A Time Until We Get There

This is Peanut Butter Brickle. If there is one thing that I have learned in my 14 years, it’s that I’m one of the handsomest dogs around.

If there is another thing I’ve learned, it’s that I have learned many things. But today’s lesson that I want to share with you is that you will get there. If you try. And we are trying to get to that Italy place.

I can see the persons looking at calendars and getting stressed. I can see them shuffling papers and doing all kinds of work. They don’t seem to know which task to do first. They don’t know if they can make this schedule that they have planned.

Many have asked when we plan to leave for that Italy place. And when we will get to our little house.

Well, we are trying to get on our way at the end of May. How are we planning on getting there? We are still waiting on confirmation that our reservations are confirmed. We’ve been on a waiting list for awhile for a unique way of getting there. We will tell you about that next week. But let me just put your fears to rest. It will NOT be in the bottom of a plane. No way. I’m sure it’s fine for some dogs. But at my age, I had to put my paw down about that.

I have learned that when you persons have a lot to do and when it seems overwhelming, you have two choices. You can get overwhelmed and do nothing because you don’t think that you can. You freeze or you rush around accomplishing nothing.

Or you can do one thing at a time and do one thing each day. Since it all has to be done, tackle it it piece by piece like a pizza. Day by day.

When you think about why you are on a schedule and have to accomplish something, listen to your heart talking. There is something worth all of this work for. You are worth all of this work. You want to do this. You can do this.

We only have a certain amount of days on this earth. So use your time wisely. Listen to your heart and concentrate on making your life better. Whatever it is that you want to do. Wherever it is that you want to go.

So we still have to submit our person visas again. The persons have to get our pet passports. And that’s just the beginning. We have just a few months to do this.

But one thing at a time. We have to do this safely. We have to have fun. This might be difficult to navigate but our hearts are leading us there.

Yes all that stuff takes time.. and it can be overwhelming. We are in the process of moving too, to Tennessee so just a car ride in the jeep for Crystal. We have been a few times already and marked the rest area stops so she can go potty and walk around a bit. She usually has the comfort of 1/2 of the back seat but these next 2 trips she will be in the passenger seat in the front cause the jeep will be loaded with our stuff. Momma says our necessities are within reach. Mostly doggie stuff and then things to stay a acouple of days. Then the end of April we in the jeep will follow dad with the uhaul will all our stuff…. so my momma is alittle stressed to make sure we have all the goods in order. But nothing like what you all are facing 😕. I would say if you are going by plane that you and Fruitycake have a seat next to your GP BP. If you are going by ship well you will still be right next to them…🙂❤️🐾 prayers for some peace and less anxiety….. we love you Brickle and Fruitycake
