Super Trooper

This is Peanut Butter Brickle.  Who inspires you?  Other than me, of course.

I am inspired every day by so many people trying to help animals.

I am inspired every day others trying to be kind and make a difference.

I am inspired by nature every day too.  The birds, the sky, the ocean, the sand, the forest, the everything in nature.

But no one and nothing inspires me more than my little brother, Digby Pancake. He’s been through a lot in his 12 years.

He’s overcome the odds from being in the shelter.

He’s overcome the odds of being my friend.  Because, you may not know this, but I am not the easiest to get along with sometimes.

Digby Pancake has also been sick on and off for a few years. And every time, he makes up his mind that he will get better.  Every time, he knows that it will be harder and harder to get better.  But he does not give up.  We call him our Super Trooper.

But Girl Person tells him that he’s not a Super Trooper because he is successful at getting better.  He is a Super Trooper because he tries.

And when you try, you never fail.  When you try, you are doing what your heart wants.

And we want you with us Digby Pancake.

Time goes by so, so fast that I can’t explain it.

One minute, Digby was walking through our door for the first time.  The next minute, he is walking up a ramp into our RV.

There has been so much that has happened over the years.

But the best thing that has ever happened to me is Digby Pancake.

He’s my Super Trooper.

We will be at this campsite until Saturday.  Then we move closer to Celestial Farms in Jacksonville, Florida because we will be helping them next week.  You can support our fundraiser for this deserving place here.
