This is Peanut Butter Brickle. California…California. It’s always had a piece of our hearts.

It was the first destination we headed to back in 2011 that started us on our traveling life!

And ten years later, and many miles later, we decided that if we wanted to go back for a visit, we would go back for a visit!

When your house is on wheels, that’s what you do if you want to do it!

We’ve had so much fun here at our friends’ land in Rocky Face, Georgia. They were nice to let us park here and transition to the Big Barking Biscuit Buggy from the Big Blue Treat Wagon.

But it’s important not to overstay a welcome. It’s important not to get too comfortable. At least for us! Traveling gives me and Digby Pancake purpose and something to work for. It keeps our minds and our bodies active.

So instead of taking our leisurely time to get to where we really want to go, we are going to try and get to that California place in one week! Over 2000 miles. Yes. You heard us. One week! We can do it! Every. Day. Matters.

The first place we are going to park at is Temecula, California. And we are going to sight see and rest up some.

Then where are we headed? What do you think about us visiting and or learning about some wildlife sanctuaries or wildlife rescues? What are your favorite animals? You know. Besides dogs. That’s obvious.

Can we do it? We are sure gonna try. You see, as you get older, you realize that time is short. If there’s somewhere you want to go… go. Now. If there are changes you want to make…make them. Now.

What will the rest of the this year bring? We don’t know exactly. But we do know learning about other animals and individuals helps us to be better. So California? Here we come!
