This is Digby Pancake. I’m quite sure that I’ve never met a food a didn’t like. Peas may be close to being unlikeable. But it’s only because they fall off my plate and try to run away from me.
Peanut Butter Brickle is mostly the food snob. He has to look at it. Stare at it some more. Smell it.
Then he will taste whatever it is and mostly likely spit it out. Just to make a point.
But when it’s raining outside…literally all day long…it makes everyone hungry in this Big Blue Treat Wagon RV. And it also makes the persons a bit down and depressed.
Put those two things together and I know what’s about to go down. Some cooking down into my belly.
But not just any cooking will do on a rainy day. It has to be creative. Different. It has to be fun. It has to be new.
This is all required in order to pull out of a rainy day slump. So we decided to do the couscous.
I never have thought about couscous.
But i was missing out.
Some persons think it’s rice. Some think it is pasta. But I just know it is delicious.
It’s funny when you try a food that you’ve never had before, it’s a little scary. But once you just sit back and enjoy it and learn about it, it is fun!
Not scary!
Couscous may not be for everyone. But how do you know if you don’t try it?
You can either be sad on the rainy days of life or be optimistic. Tomorrow is planned by what you do today. Don’t waste time being sad. Use time to make yourself better. To grow. To learn. It can be about couscous. Do the couscous!
