This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle. What are you doing to amuse yourself lately? I actually find myself pretty amusing.

Yes. I may be the most interesting dog in the world. But in your world right now, which is probably your house, you are the most interesting person in the world. What are you doing to entertain yourself? You’re such an entertainer! I bet you didn’t even know it.

You see, right now, we are all trying to keep our spirits up. We are trying to keep busy, or trying to not, like Digby.

All of us have had a change in routine, a change in scenery, or like us, no change at all lately. And it’s pretty hard to get used to all of this.

That’s why the entertainer in you is being put to the test. Do you sing to yourself?

Do you entertain yourself by cooking?

Maybe you are entertaining yourself by working out.

But if none of those things ring your bell, you’re not alone. Because some are finding it hard to be an entertainer. And so instead of making themselves happy in whatever way they can, they feel stuck. Depressed. And if they stay there, the Depression Monster will fins a way to take up their time.

No. You don’t have to have a list of things you’ve accomplished during this time. But when it is over, will you have taken care of yourself in the way you deserve? Will you have been the best entertainer for your mind? It’s up to you. No one else can pick the play. No one else can write the script. That’s your role. Play it well.

If you need suggestions on being entertained, I implore you to think of what you liked when you were young. Or even what you liked a few months ago before we all were caught in this. You’re still in there. And there’s only one you.
