This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle.  I have a shocker for you.  My looks?  Well, they can’t get me everywhere.  I know.  You probably had to have a seat, although I didn’t even tell you to.  The news is enough to warrant an arrest of myself for not warning you enough of shocking information in advance.  But I won’t arrest myself, because someone around here has to run the show.  And that’s me. That’s not a shocker at all.

We have spent all week getting ready to head out of this Florida place.  It seemed like the longer we sat in this spot in the woods, the more things went wrong.  But things going wrong are just part of the adventure I say.  And how do we know that the things happening are actually “wrong”?  Maybe it will all work out for the best.  But trying to get out of here has been a challenge.  Almost as challenging as Deputy Digby’s new diet.  And that my friends is a challenge.

Seems as though no one around here has the right tires for our Big Blue Treat Wagon. Boy Person spent days trying to find them, and well, we finally did.  But they can’t put them on until Tuesday.  And yet, we have to get out of the woods tomorrow.  So now…rest time is over.  Time to get out the woods tomorrow, head to a park in this Florida place still…if we can find a spot, then wait until Tuesday when tires can get put on this Big Blue Treat Wagon RV.  I can’t wait to get on the road again.  Literally.  Can we please get on the road again already?!

As Sheriff, it is part of my job to keep things moving. I have to keep everyone in line, but I can’t change tires on this gigantic bus.  Well, I can, but it seems as though it would be risking my handsome if grease got on me. So the only thing I can do is keep everyone focused for the trip ahead.  Progress may not be happening on our time schedule, but it is happening.  Safety is our utmost concern, and I hate to say it, but costing us a few extra days to be safe is worth it.  When we DO get on the road again, this is going to be the best time ever.  I feel it as much as I feel everyone staring at my handsome all the time.

Now.  This is our last night of rest, because somehow I feel this weekend is going to be eventful trying to find a camping spot.  But it is the start of this Adventure Of A Lifetime again. Are you ready?  Let’s go!
