This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle.  And I don’t do a lot of things.  Like not arrest people.  Like not be gorgeous. Like not boss Deputy Digby around.  And I do not.  I repeat. I do not do the bunny hop in Kentucky.  Seriously. They call it an appropriate song and dance? What is appropriate about this? I have to say I am dern fortunate I was born in 2009.  I do not NOT regret that statement.

Why am I discussing the bunny hop you may ask? Well.  And bear with me here.  I am still upset.  Girl Person and Boy Person decided to go to a rabbit rescue yesterday called the Bun Bun Brigade here in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.  And don’t flip out. But Deputy Digby and I were not allowed to go.

You may recall a few weeks ago when Digby and I pulled Girl Person down in Illinois trying to chase a rabbit.  You may recall she hit her head and her back and had a bad headache and was down and out for two weeks. So…the persons decided that for everyone’s sake that Digby and I would take the week off from rescue visits and not go to see rabbits.  I am not happy.  I would have been my southern gentleman self.  And newsflash persons.  The bunny hop is not even cool in Kentucky. So I got my peanut butter while you were gone.  My paper towel holder to tear up.  My bunny rabbit with no eyes which I tore out.  And I sang an appropriate Kentucky song.

You have never heard of rabbits that need rescuing?  Well, we had not either.  Girl Person said that we have some special video and article to share with you on Sunday on our Facebook page.  Or should I call it The Facebook? That is what I heard someone say here in Kentucky.  Well.  The Kentucky? Thank you for not making visitors do the bunny hop.  Thank you for your bluegrass instead.  Thank you for your rabbit rescuers.  And for now I will not arrest you.  Unless someone asks me to do that bunny hop which I know that is what the persons were doing all afternoon at the Bun Bun Brigade.  Not appropriate at all. The bunny hop in Kentucky? No. Just. No.

We are looking forward to another gorgeous day in Kentucky without bunny hops and it is more gorgeous since I am here!  Let’s do this!
