This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle.  Allow me to interrupt your day.  Although you came to this blog willingly, so perhaps you may need an interruption.  Although…seeing my beauteous self is definitely an interruption any time because you can’t look away.

Many people have been worried about Girl Person this week, and rightly so.  Being thrown on the ground by two dogs who love her, although weigh more than her put together hurt her pretty bad.  Well, hurt her head I suppose. That rabbit really set me and Deputy Digby up in my opinion. Then, pulling her down again two days later in pursuit of yet another varmit didn’t help.  That armadillo also set us up. So yeah, we get and understand why fans were concerned.  Also, the fact that she took a really long time to feel better was alarming as well.  Good news is, today, she is feeling much better.  Bad news?  Now Boy Person got another one of his migraine headaches from probably being worried about Girl Person.

Now, you may think that life would stop with all this.  Truth be told, we are all a bit worn out from our trip.  As you know, we left in May and we still have 18 more wonderful states to visit and to showcase my beauty.  Why are we continuing every day and every week despite all the trials and tribulations?  You.  You, our fans.  The rescues.  All of you.  You’re the inspiration.

Now, that being said, and stop swooning because I dedicated this song to you, we kind of need a break.  A break from traveling so much.  A break from the hectic schedule.  And we will be taking a break at some point next month because we are listening to our fans, our family and our fans. As Sheriff, I have informed the persons that this break is not an option.  We thank our fans for letting us take a break and for being worried about us.

Now, I know what you are thinking.  Will this break affect how much you see me?  How many pictures and videos that you need of me to make it through your day?  No way.  That is not part of the break.  Calm down.  Simmer down now.

This trip was meant to be fun too, and not all work.  Deputy Digby and I are the most important things on this trip to the persons.  That is what Girl Person said.  And she knows we are tired too.  Although this Missouri sunshiney this week is sure helping us relax.  And we have more things to see here this weekend.  But for today, it will be a little rest.  A little rest for the persons and a little rest for me and Deputy Digby for taking care of the persons.  We know you will understand.  And thank you.

But know this.  I know my beauty is inspiring, but you are an inspiration for me too because you recognize my beauty.  Thank you for that.  Now for some Missouri sunshiney and relaxation today! Let’s do this!
